City of Paris.

The City of Paris is a bulk car carrier which makes regular sailings from the Nissan terminal at Tyne Dock, South Shields to Rotterdam in Holland with valuable cars for export to Europe.

Seen here passing the Groyne Lighthouse and Littlehaven Beach.

An interesting capture where the man and dog seem to make the carrier seem somewhat small; until I look closer and see a human figure walking on the breakwater and realize how large the carrier really is. :-)

Cool shot!! Looks like the same type of ship that used to bring our Subaru's from Japan to the port in Jacksonville, FL..... where they were shipped to dealers all over the SE United States..... under my instruction, as a distribution coordinator for Subaru of America !!

Is it a working lighthouse in the photo? It almost looks like a really red Eiffel Tower to be loaded on the "City of Paris" :-)
