South Shields Lakeshore Railroad

Posted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 24 January 2010 in Transportation and Portfolio.

South Shields has a grand recently restored Victorian park down by the sea. The South Marine park has a large boating lake frequented by swans and a nine inch gauge steam railway that carries passengers around the lake. Great way for adults and kids to get to see the place.

The lights in the background are from the Ocean Beach amusement park.
