Stone parasol.

Posted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 31 October 2010 in Architecture and Portfolio.

Here are a couple of shots (today and tomorrow) of the old Town Hall in South Shields' Market Place, I'll follow these with a couple of the new Town Hall in Westoe Road.

This is the pillar which supports the ceiling and the meeting room above, where our original town council met.

My usual three hand held shots processed in Photomatix to make this HDR.

A wonderful shot Curly - the composition is different and original - and the colors - there's something about them - the almost have a '3d' like effect to them. Great stuff!

Wish sometimes they'd keep the old and forget the new. They destroyed our old town hall where I was born to build a big new modern building BUT it sucked, the old had class.

Le titre est bien choisi. Une architecture originale est une photo aux couleurs chaudes et bien cadrée. J'aime beaucoup!
