Deputy MayorPosted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 20 May 2011 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. A more formal approach here for the Deputy Mayor Cllr. Eileen Leask and her husband Peter. Again the HDR tone mapping was done in Photomatix, then I masked the pair of them back in from the 0EV exposure, finally a little softening with the Lucis Arts plug-in. The three processes although lengthy gave me a result that I'm very pleased with. Use control and your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the picture/page, then control and 0 to reset to normal size. @Roman: I'll have to go and look for that Roman. @PRASHANT: Ssshh.....don't tell anyone. Slip of the hand, too lazy to correct it. @Xavi Dom Buendia: There is an intention to have this one printed on canvass, that is why I processed it in this way, I think it will reinforce the look of an oil painting. @Williams: You might get a shock when you see the true colour of the room Paul. @k@: Keep your eye open for the straight RAW in a couple of days, it might surprise you. @dean musgrove: Some like it, some don't, but thanks for dropping in to take a look. @Loner: Thank you very much. @BBM: It is quite deliberate to suit the idea of a canvass print that carries all of the quality of oil painting. I used the Lucis Art plug-in to smooth out the local textures in an attempt to replicate a smeary sable brush. |
