Pick up and go

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 2 July 2011 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Caught this one on a quiet but very sunny morning.
Usually it would be the busiest taxi office in Newcastle upon Tyne, situated under the canopy of the huge Central Station, the only busier place might be at the airport, but that is a long long way from the city centre!

This little wooden office has been there for as long as I can remember and it always look like a cosy place to huddle around on cold winter nights when the snow is piling up.

Fabulous processing - it's probably better to be inside the kiosk on a cold winter's day, but your processing has made it look like a warm summers day.

A compelling shot...You have capitalized on the unique and cozy look of this spot, especially as it is huddled under an overpass of some sort. I LOVE this...I want to BE there !!!

The contrast between the new glass building and the old station is brilliant! It appears to be beautiful and sunny there, but by the looks of the ladies sweaters, I can't quite believe it's that warm. Of course, it's 111 here in Phoenix today, so they look reeeallly good!
