Durham City market placePosted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 8 January 2012 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. Durham City is an ancient place, essentially Norman rebuilding over Saxon settlements, the current market place is of course rather newer than that, but still is pretty old in its architecture. Processed in Lucis before the black and white conversion, you might also notice "Missy" is lurking in the foreground, she gets everywhere these days. Use control and your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the picture/page, then control and 0 to reset to normal size. Even though I may not be able to visit or respond daily, I always welcome your comments or critiques. Read my views in Curly's Corner Shop, to find out a little more about my home town South Shields.
