Happy New Year smile

The North East's oriental communities celebrated their New Year in Newcastle Upon Tyne's Stowell Street area on Sunday 29th. January 2012, and I took the Metro from South Shields to join in the fun. ("Missy" always enjoys this event and I didn't want to disappoint her).
Hence I have quite a few pictures to share and I hope you enjoy them.

Sincere smile of a bautiful day. I visited Newcastle's university in 1968. I crossed Great Britain hitch hiking and worked 2 months in Scotland in a holiday camp for epileptics.
