Queen Elizabeth ll, second time aroundPosted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 26 March 2012 in Transportation and Portfolio. Another look at the Cunard liner Queen Elizabeth ll as she passes the Groyne in South Shields on her final visit to the River Tyne. It's not that I haven't shot any new images recently, I have quite a number in various stages of processing, just thought you might like to see some of these older archived images and see how the processing and presentation has changed. There is some nasty banding in the sky in this one, not quite sure how to recover that, long after the event, without completely replacing the sky. Use control and your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the picture/page, then control and 0 to reset to normal size. Even though I may not be able to visit or respond daily, I always welcome your comments or critiques. Read my views in Curly's Corner Shop, to find out a little more about my home town South Shields.
