Ladybird

Posted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 25 April 2012 in Animal & Insect.

Found this one in Westoe Village, South Shields.
I might have mentioned the village in one of my little planet pictures, prior to 1850 Westoe Village was just that, a village quite separate from South Shields. As the town expanded during the industrial revolution Westoe became kind of annexed, and now it is almost hidden away inside quite a large urban town.
