Durham market place.

Posted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 11 May 2012 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

It is a lot smaller than the market place in South Shields, but we keep returning. I think we like its intimacy, and the indoor market underneath the old town hall on the left.
When the sun shines and lights up these old buildings it feels like a lifetime of summers, all in one day.

Combination of Nik Silver Efex, and Lucis Arts for this shot.

Interesting effects with those filters. Looks like a very photogenic spot - and with a "lifetime of summers" I'll wager that a lot of good photography could come out of that location.
