Oh what a night!Posted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 12 May 2012 in Cityscape & Urban. A "vertorama" of the Groyne lighthouse in South Shields, I wanted to create a very very very long run in to the light. So I shot three frames at about 55mm on the lens and stitched them together manually using layer masks in Photoshop (they refused to submit to auto programming, I should have taken a tripod you know). I don't think the exercise was a huge success to be honest, the length of the pier doesn't look any greater than what it might have been if I'd turned the camera vertical and shot at 28mm. Anyway, for the processing, Nik Silver Efex, - oh, and it was mid afternoon :-) Use control and your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the picture/page, then control and 0 to reset to normal size. Even though I may not be able to visit or respond daily, I always welcome your comments or critiques. Read my views in Curly's Corner Shop, to find out a little more about my home town South Shields.
