Old timer

Posted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 4 July 2012 in Transportation and Portfolio.

An old MG found at the Tyne Tees Run in the Bents Park, South Shields.

Three shot hand held HDR with an added zoom burst effect to deal with people moving in between frames. They really don't care, do they?

Use control and your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the picture/page, then control and 0 to reset to normal size.

great idea with the zoom effect - but what about manual anti-ghosting in Photomatix, didn't it work?

4 Jul 2012 5:50am

@Roman: If you look closely you will find some dark shadows of people behind the red car and to the left of the green car, these were left after my best result in Photomatix I'm afraid. I couldn't find sufficient good areas to clone from to completely remove them or to try and mask them in as single entities. That's why I moved to this solution, which I think offered a little more excitement and drama than just trying to repair the background.

"Oy, matey boy, yep, you with the camera", "Umm, yes","Did you take pictures of my daughter?","Yes, but due to the temporal distortions of High Definition Recording and Post Processing, and the fleeting nature of the Arrow of Time, she doesn't exist", "Weirdo"
Great end result

Ref. "Froopy" It´s a shortened version of a "Hoopy Frood" which is taken from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
