Deconstruction (part 7)

Posted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 5 August 2012 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

A short series of abstracts mainly put together using Pixel Bender for 64 bit Photoshop CS5.

A few moths ago the Bizz Bar on Ocean Road in South Shields suddenly collapsed showering the street with tons of debris. The building had been undergoing some "refurbishment" at the time of the collapse and little is known about the true reason why its structure spectacularly failed. I documented the aftermath the following day as contractors started to clear away the mess, the pictures themselves were not earth shattering but they gave me the basis for these artistic abstracts.

This is the final one showing the Droste effect.
Here's the original.

A superb montage, very far from the original. This is excellent, it was a completely different picture. Good Sunday.

Really like this one, Curly : the eternal repeat packs a wallop of symbolism that speaks to the endless construction, expansion, frontier attainment, of our species. (good and/or bad)
