Warkworth Castle, Northumberland, home of the Percys, a notorious clan who fought for the Crown in early English history.
I had trouble finding the right spot to photograph this on the day I was there, the weather was constantly changing, it was wet, dry, sunny, windy, all in a few minutes. This was taken from a side road and my back was pushed up against someone's garden wall, I really need a shorter lens!
Anyway, single RAW tone mapped in Photomatix for the HDR, then a run through Nik Colour Efex in Photoshop. I'm pretty happy with how I worked it.
