Tying up the boats

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 15 April 2010 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio.

These images are part of a collection submitted for an exhibition to be held in The Customs House in South Shields in September. They were all taken in the South Marine Park during an event entitled "48 Hours", which encouraged South Shields people to enjoy the recently refurbished park on the sea front.

Here the attendants tie up the pedal-lo boats on the lake.

I've been off-line for the past couple of days with a broken broadband modem, so I wasn't able to either respond to your kind comments or get around your blogs to reciprocate. Things should get back to normal fairly swiftly now that my ISP has replaced the modem.

@CM Kwan: Sorry, no HDR to see here.

I hope it's just the processing that makes the boats look so dirty. Lovely work, though!

@MrsAmber: It is Kate, it really emphasises the micro detailing and textures, it's the Lucis Arts plug in.
