Horse at riverside, Gateshead

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 19 May 2010 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

O.K. we are travelling along the riverside away from South Shields for a couple of days or so and back to Gateshead and Newcastle Quays. On the way I found this horse tied up alongside the banks of the River Tyne looking a little malnourished and dejected, it always saddens me to see horses tied up in public places this way.

Yes, a great image and processing...but, a very sad scene! The owners should be held responsible for this poor horse. Cruelty to helpless animals is truly sad!

It's really interesting that some feel sadness and others don't ! I don't feel sadness at all. I like his appearance and your way of processing.

The image and process is stunning, remarkable textures.
It is difficult for me to realize a beautiful creature like this is in such bad shape.
Negligence and ignorance. I only hope something is done for this animal and quickly.
