Durham Cathedral

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 19 June 2010 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Probably the finest Norman building in Europe, Durham Cathedral and castle are UNESCO sites of World Heritage. This view from the weir on the River Wear is probably the most renowned, and for some reason it is called the "Wordsworth view", although I cannot remember seeing an HDR picture made from here. This may be a first!

This is the last in this series from Durham, I hope you enjoyed them.

Three shots hand held and processed in Photomatix then finished in Noiseware.
