The finale to the opening parade in South Shields for the 2010 Mouth of the Tyne Festival featuring Indian cultural dances and Bangra hip hop music along with colourful fireworks. This event drew thousands to South Shields last Saturday evening to follow a giant mechanical elephant along the sea front promenade in a two mile parade of light, music, and pyrotechnics.
