The Whitby series #13

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 6 September 2010 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Aka "Yankee Doodle Dandy"

940s weekend in Whitby turned out to be quite an international affair with English, Germans, French, Scots, and Americans all on patrol around the town. I'd love to see an event like this in South Shields!

Worked in Photoshop and Nik Silver Efex.

PENTAX K100D 1/750 second F/6.7 ISO 200 27 mm (35mm equiv.)

"Thanks for the memories," - as Bob Hope would have sang. This stands as an excellent image and a beautiful tribute, Curly - to that 'greatest generation'. Thanks for bringing us along...
