South pier snowscape

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 10 January 2011 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

A typical three shot HDR made in Photomatix Pro 4 with a textured overlay.
This is the south pier in South Shields with Essy's Italian restaurant a little way down there, taken towards the end of December.
It's been a pretty good winter for snow so far.

The texture overlay makes it look as though you dropped a print in the snow, and it melted. It works very well
