Wingfield Castle

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 19 January 2011 in Transportation and Portfolio.

I'm pretty short of new material at the moment, also pretty short of inspiration and motivation to go out and get it (I'm going through another of those blue periods.)

So for the next few days I'll be taking some time out, perhaps tramping around with my camera, if the legs and hips don't give up. I'll be posting some stuff from last year's archives which I wasn't able to squeeze in at the time, I'll try and get around a few of your blogs as and when I can but I will thank you generously here and now for all of your generous comments and words of encouragement.

Paddle steamer Wingfield Castle, moored in Hartlepool Marina.

@Sarito: Just some tonal contrast adjustments, not HDR.

I love these old ships! not many of them left nowadays. I really like the composition, you framed it in the best way I think. If I may suggest an improvement I'd have increased the black a bit. It looks a bit washed out.
an impressive photo anyway.
