Taken from Graham Sands South Shields a small bay behind Trow Rocks, the big rock at the back is known locally as "Target Rock".
As the sun set behind and to the right of me it lends its light to a small portion of the rock, quite a moment to capture. The camera of course was tripod mounted and to make absolutely sure there would be no shakes or vibrations I used my wireless shutter release.
A combination of two Cokin ND filters was also used on the lens (2 stop and 8 stop) to hold back the exposure.
Finished in Nik Viveza 2 to get the light as good as possible.
