Just taking a little break from the Good Friday series for today, this is a regular scene on the south pier in South Shields, a family enjoying a quiet afternoon sea fishing.
The pier with its little pepper pot shaped lighthouse is exactly one mile long, so it always makes for a bracing walk from the pier head to watch the boats and ships coming into the Tyne.
Had a bit of fun making the film strip in Photoshop using "smart objects".
Use control and your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the picture/page, then control and 0 to reset to normal size.
