Taxi for Saint Nick!

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 3 July 2011 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

The reverse view down the canopy of Richard Grainger's magnificent Central Station in Neville Street, Newcastle upon Tyne. The city's St. Nicholas cathedral with it's coronet styled tower can be viewed through the arch at the far end.

Terrible news folks, I woke up this morning to discover that the monitor on my desktop has expired! I am adding this note from my laptop, but the worst news is that I cannot access my picture files until I install a new monitor, in turn this means there may not be a picture from me tomorrow! (If there is, it will be pretty late.)

PENTAX K100D 1/60 second F/9.5 ISO 200 27 mm (35mm equiv.)

Hi Curly! This is a wonderful picture - leading the eye from the station up to the cathedral. Such detail! Beautiful. So sorry about your monitor. I hate it when that happens. All I work on now is a laptop and can't imagine what I'd do if I lost access to all of my pictures.
