I decided to liven the day up by grabbing the old Cokin graduated tobacco filter out of the bag, it hasn't seen daylight for quite some time.
Not sure if I really like the result or not.

@Ronnie 2¢: It doesn't actually show well in this picture, but these are actually prawn pots with a little funnel inside. Had a good long chat with the boat owner who puts them out.
@Laurie: Yes, this is the castle on Lindisfarne, all on the one island!
@CElliottUK: Come to think of it, I've never used the starburst filter in around twenty years!
@Florence: Yep, an old Cokin graduated tobacco filter.
@Stephen: On reflection, I think that I've brought the filter a little too much down into the frame. The top third might have been a bit better and more acceptable.
@Tede: Cor blimey Tede, I'm amazed this won a Spotlight!
@LoulouPix: Thank you very much, I'm really surprised that this was found worthy of a Spotlight.
@Henny: Thanks Henny, if you ever manage to come here I'll be happy to meet up!
@Ol: I still think the filter has been applied too far down the frame, I think one third from the top would have been about right.
@john4jack: Thanks very much Jack.
@Eric Cousineau: Thank you very much Eric, congrats on your anniversary!
@Calusarus: Thank you very much Fred.
@Ronnie 2¢: Thank you very much Ronnie, it was very unexpected.
@Jules: Thank you very much Jules.
@Steve Rice: Thanks Steve, glad you like it. Personally, if I had to do it again I'd make sure the filter only covered the top third, and not 50% of the frame.
@Steve Rice: Thank you very much.
@Rafael: Glad you like it Rafael
@Dokmateo: Thanks very much for your visit and comment, keep snapping away there in Spain!
@Phil David Morris 2011: If I had to do it again, I'd do it differently, see my reply to Steve Rice above.
@Skyriani: Thank you very much, sometimes you have to add a little something on a grey day.
@Roman: Thank you very much Roman.
@PRASHANT: Thank you very much Prashant.
@Marleen: Thank you very much Marleen.
@saeed: Thanks Saeed glad you like it, it is a small island with lots of interesting photographic opportunities from the old ruined priory and the more "modern" church next to it, to the harbour, fishing boats, the boat "sheds", the castle, the winery, the village and its coastline. It cannot disappoint a photographer.
@Kat: Thanks very much Kat.
