A short series of pictures recording and documenting a few events in South Shields during the period of remembrance surrounding Armistice Day 2011. All with a common theme showing mainly mono with some hand picked detail in colour, this will likely be red to signify the spilling of blood and selfless sacrifice as represented by the Flanders poppy.

I believe this is the tunic of the Grenadier Guards, although the "hackle" appears to be from the Northumberland Fusiliers reservists.
