LEP

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 4 December 2011 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

I think this is what the government calls a Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), i.e. where a couple of folks come together form an enterprise and make ten bob each. :-)

These guys were selling home produce on the island of Lindisfarne in Northumberland.

A mix of hope and sadness here that is so skilfully allied to the color treatment - or the other way around. Rather touching moment somehow.

Lena from San Francisco, United States

very nice prosessing with captured that momnent, but he seemed not so friendly to customers. It 's really great image.

4 Dec 2011 9:05pm

@Lena: It's one of those "moment" shots Lena, he was a happy jovial smiling fellow, but I've caught him in deep conversation about supermarkets vs small independent traders, even though the nearest supermarket is some miles away on the mainland it still has an effect on the islanders.
