Chichester little planet

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 24 February 2012 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Think I'll put little planets up on a Friday for a few weeks. I have quite a few of South Shields now, made with various manipulations in Photoshop and nicely stitched (not your normal little planets).
This is Chichester roundabout where five roads converge, at eleven O'clock is the Chichester Arms, and at seven O'clock the bus depot.
Light cross processing using a Photoshop action.

By the way, in these parts it's Chai as in Chi - na, not Chi as in Chi - chester, got it?

Use control and your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the picture/page, then control and 0 to reset to normal size.

Even though I may not be able to visit or respond daily, I always welcome your comments or critiques.

I love this one...that 'weather vane' in the middle really got me laughing, for some reason -- the signalling pole to outer planets! And, are you saying we should say Chai-chester?

Well done Curly!

25 Feb 2012 11:46am

@Don Levesque: Weather vane? It is street lighting erected in the middle of the roundabout, we used to have a tradition of greasing it up and trying to climb to the top on New Year's Eve.
