She walks alone

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 18 March 2012 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

"Missy" trudges up the hill in Garden Lane, South Shields.

The bridge used to carry the main South Shields to Newcastle railway line, it was built for the good old iron clad steam trains of the past but now carries the rolling stock of the Metro light transit system.

A dramatic image, but I don't have a cozy feeling of a youngster walking in low light with cars whizzing by. I suppose it may appear darker because you are in the dark.
