Strolling the pier

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 18 February 2013 in Cityscape & Urban.

A good healthy walk in South Shields is to be had on the pier, from the Pier Head to the lighthouse is one mile. The guys fishing at the end probably do it every day!

My wife has been admitted to hospital with a terminal illness and I have two children and a part time job to look after. I have pre-posted pictures up until Sunday, not sure when I will be back commenting on a regular daily basis. Just hoping that it won't be too long.

@Veronique: She is a lot brighter despite recognising the seriousness of the situation. She should be discharged from hospital soon, to be nursed in the home environment amongst her family and friends.
