March winds brought snow #4

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 22 March 2013 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Just a few pictures taken from the shelter of my mother-in-law's kitchen last week. March winds also blew in a few snow showers and brought us some sub zero temperatures.

I liked the warm splashes of colour introduced by the daffodils growing in a pot on the window sill.

Somehow I have managed to cobble together seven pictures for the coming week, nothing of great or exceptional quality, but at least they'll give you something to chat about.

NILLA from Sweden

hello and thanks for your comment, it's always nice to hear from you C! -yes, I am very proud of my first grandchild. It is modern here in Sweden to baptize their children to very special name now, all young parents want their children to be called something "unique". We have discussed this topic in 9 months now, my husband wished they would call the child "somewhat common" name. We'll probably start to become obsolete, it feels like ..... Now the name VILDA: it translates to roughly WILD........

Now your photo: Nice mixed WINTER-Spring, excellent colors!
