OK having deliberated over whether or not to share some pictures of our trips from South Shields to other places during Mrs. Curly's illness (and her desire to show the children some of her more favoured places), I have fallen on the side of showing them. Just for a brief period though - I do have lots of fresh local material to share too.
This is Kings Cross Station in London showing its fabulous new adornment in the arrivals and departures area. I thought it was very artistic and modern, a great improvement on the old Victorian roof that I had seen on the last of my visits to our capital.
The man in the corner appeared to be equally fascinated as he broke his journey to take in this architectural marvel, but remembered to sip from his bottle of water every now and then.
