Finbarr's finest

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 3 November 2013 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

Last time I saw this very same busker, he was playing a cello, so obviously a man with some talent.
Caught him outside of Finbarr's Irish pub in the city of Durham.

He does not look very happy. I think that this work is not very large income.

So well !!!!! After my yesterday's pirate in town,a Celtic Figure in your streets....I LOVE !!!! Musicians are all typics and friends, for me....And I'm hearing from here the sound of pipe.......and the bottle in the pocket is cool...I'm not sure he is so sad friends are tellin before....Just lost in its thoughts, souvenirs, and music,perhaps......An excellent street portrait,Friend ....

He seems a big man to be playing with such a small instrument - the cello would certainly be more suitable for him.

Toscana from Baden, France

A kind portrait of this man, looking a little poor really. To play music in the street at his age is not just the love of music, must be too a necessitiy. I like a lot the composition of your photo (including the bottle in the pocket) and the colours. *****.
Have a nice day, Catherine

Lovely portrait. I like the background with the color and the window. He looks rather sad. He must be talented if he can play more than one instrument.

Excellent and colorful. What a street shot and unique character. Sometimes street intertainment is the only venue for talent, those of us who must play, sing, or create no matter what. 5 stars
