Bright idea!

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 3 June 2014 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

My Silly Tuesday contribution for this week.

I think he must have a bright idea about a new flavour for the chipsticks, or an exciting new condiment to combine them with.

Picture made last weekend at the Proper Food Festival held in the Bents Park, South Shields.

Fellow AM3 members and various local readers and followers, I thank you all very sincerely for the best wishes, support, and comments over the years, however, I fear I may have to leave this site alone for a while now and devote my time entirely to my wife and her battle against that dreaded disease. It will not take you long to figure out that I have eventually dried up my supply of pictures, and finding time to make new ones is pretty much impossible right now. So good-bye (for now), if I get a chance of taking new shots I will post the odd one in here, I don't intend to close down completely!

It will always be my intention to return again one day and post daily pictures from South Shields and the surrounding area.

PENTAX K100D 1/350 second F/5.6 ISO 200 27 mm (35mm equiv.)

Use control and your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the picture/page, then control and 0 to reset to normal size.

Even though I may not be able to visit or respond daily, I always welcome your comments or critiques.

Superb image Curly and a good one to leave us with. We will miss you during your absence but understand that your family is your priority and I'm sure like everyone else on this site you have my thoughts and good wishes. Continue to be strong my friend as I'm sure you are, but still allow yourself time to reflect and think of more happy times, you will always have good memories even though they may be hard to find when times seem dark hold on to them and your children they will get you through.

Fantastic processing on this image, Curly ... and a good image for us to think about as you take a sabbatical.
Know that many of us will be with you in spirit as you go through the time until you can rejoin us.
Love every smile you can draw from your wife and enjoy the good memories ... living life is no easy feat.
My prayers are with you and your family!
