English Heritage

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 14 August 2015 in Architecture and Portfolio.

This is Lanercost Priory near Brampton in Cumbria. It was built by the Normans about a hundred years after William The Conqueror had defeated the English army of King Harold in 1066. It is now preserved and looked after by English Heritage.
