Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Posted by

Well, I was a little surprised at the lack of interest in the Roker Park illuminations in Sunderland this year, perhaps I'd chosen a night that was too cold and wet for most people.
However what was more disappointing was the performance of my small Fujifilm pocket camera, I'd taken it in haste and to see what its EXR processor could produce using the special night scene low noise high iso setting. It produces a .jpg by fusing three exposures together, a rather small .jpg and with a surprising amount of residual digital noise, I was not impressed!

The results which I have posted have been subject to multiple layers and blend modes, as well as Imagenomic's Noiseware to counter this issue.
