Mickey Mouse capers

Posted by Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 22 May 2017 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Way back in 2014 I featured the unfortunate Donald Duckling, well it seems we've gone full hog on the River Tyne now, as the Mickey Mouse berthed at Northumbria Quay with hundreds of tourists on board for a full on Disney experience.
Here is the cruise liner viewed from the Mill Dam in South Shields last summer, with the old Customs House on the left.

I think I read that Disney ships use as their horn signal “When You Wish Upon a Star” . . . strange world.

A wonderful image here Curly, but what a sad name for the ship. I like the look of the Custom House, and wonder if you have a picture of this fine looking building to post on here.

My photographic friend from up the road got a similar pic. I missed out because I was recovering from an operation. I seem to miss all the good ones lately, so really enjoy other peoples work.
