Bede's tomb

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 3 August 2017 in Architecture and Portfolio.

A slightly different version of the picture of Bede's tomb in Durham Cathedral, this time vertical and in HDR. A little brighter and with a touch more detail perhaps?

I am going to be away from this photoblog for a few days, working extra shifts and trying to find time to process new pictures too. I've pre-posted a few to keep you all amused until I get back.

PENTAX K100D 1/10 second F/5.6 ISO 400 27 mm (35mm equiv.)

Use control and your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the picture/page, then control and 0 to reset to normal size.

I think I prefer the first version. It shows up the elegant lettering better and this is what attracts the eye (or my eye at least :)

I prefer this one. The clarity of the details makes it possible for me to enlarge and read the words on the wall.
