Hand woven baskets

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 7 August 2017 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

The art and craft of weaving willow into baskets and other containers continues in the Northumbrian village of Rothbury.

"Missy" and I had a drive up there to visit their annual summer street fete, which was great fun despite the rain showers. We even managed to come home with some delicious pork, tomato, and basil sausages!
