Lobster pots

Posted by
Curly (South Shields, United Kingdom) on 18 August 2017 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Looking across the harbour in Amble, Northumberland, it still maintains a small fleet of fishing vessels and has a lobster hatchery where thousands of new lobsters are reared before being released back into the sea.

The description is interesting. It's great to note that the sea is also about to bring something back.

I have to say that I like the way you capture this equipment and the view of the town in the background. It gives a great look of a working port. ( Will post color version of engine next week ).

A pretty shot of the port. A lobster hatchery? Never thought of that but, I'm glad they do rear young lobsters. We have salmon and other fish hatcheries around here.
