Sometimes when looking to shoot a sunset we find that the sun sets behind a dense bank of clouds and offers no excitement for the photographer, but how often have you turned away from the sun to find the clouds to the left or right are gloriously illuminated? This is a recent scene at the Old Mill on Cleadon Hills, South Shields.
This picture kind of reflects the long journey I have been on since coming to Aminus 3 back in 2008, almost 2400 images later and my fire is starting to burn out. May I thank you all for joining me on this journey, the ride has had its ups and downs and some years have been particularly difficult for me. As a working single parent my time for this wonderful hobby has become very limited, and I no longer have the energy to commit to visiting your sites and joining in the community commentaries, which is a great shame and pity. 2018 will be here very shortly and my photography contributions will be much different.
